New Viking 2.0 Platform
What is Viking 2.0?
Viking 2.0 is the latest interface for the myosh Viking platform. It keeps the same core platform while introducing a newer front end, updated workflows, and better responsiveness.
New Features
- improved performance stability through a serverless architecture
- fewer steps and clicks in many workflows
- better form layouts, including improved table wrapping
- home page quick links that are easier to access
- quick links that can open directly into a new record
- the ability to minimise or restore open records from the right-side navigator
- better full-screen behaviour
- better responsiveness on smaller screens
- more consistent record-list filtering options
Missing Features
Some features are still under construction in Viking 2.0, including:
- some record link workflows such as inline record creation and editing
- some multiselect checkbox colour behaviour
- the new administration experience
- editable module icons in the new interface
- Dashboard 2.0 widget migration from the older dashboard
Known Bugs
If a bug is already listed in the source documentation, there is no need to report it again. If you find an unlisted issue, contact support.
Migration Notes
- Viking 2.0 will be available through
cloud.myosh.com - existing usernames and passwords remain the same
- most users should adapt easily because the interface remains familiar
- the mobile app is unaffected, although Viking 2.0 is more mobile-browser friendly
